Well, well, well, for some folk, it's a "feast day" with the emphasis on "feast." It's Saint Patrick's Day. KNIVES IN KNOTS likes the corned beef; likes the cabbage; but KIK doesn't like it in that "Corned beef and cabbage" kind of way. Given that, and the fact that one of us was "christened" with the name, "Patrick," after You-Know-Who, we make room at the table for the Venerable, as long as he doesn't get out the shamrock and start proselytizing. Despite having a heck of a lot of charm and charisma, as far as feast days go, it's just not a big day around these parts, where the corned beef usually winds up on New York deli-style Reuben sandwiches.    Supper menu: Warm biscuits and  Gaeilge "rud beag" Boxty with a capital B!
